Natural terracotta is an extremely reliable, versatile and flexible product. Created from a combination of earth, water, air and fire, it is a material that has been used for millennia in homes, both as flooring and wall cladding.
Ecologica continues to follow the tried-and-tested, authentic ‘recipe’ of tradition, right through to the production process: clay kneaded and shaped by hand, slow natural drying, and firing in a wood-fired kiln.
PRE-SEALED, TO MEET TODAY’S NEEDS
Ecologica’s terracotta tiles are easy to lay and clean thanks to the ‘BIO’ pre-sealing, which waterproofs them, making them resistant to any type of liquid. At the same time, they retain their natural rustic finish and therefore offer maximum slip resistance.
“Ecologica” handmade terracotta tiles are laid just like standard porcelain stoneware tiles, using the same adhesives.
Eco Ceramica’s terracotta tiles are synonymous with quality and durability, having been laid in Italian homes for over 25 years.
